I have written a play which has been selected to go on as part of STaG's New Writing Festival in the Ramshorn Theatre at the end of February.
The show will be on for one night and will go up against 3 other new plays in a competition in which the winner will be awarded a 2 week run at the Edinburgh Fringe
The play itself is loosely based on the story of Antigone and attempts to examine issues of both predetermination and civil-disobedience; told through a combination of stylized verse and physical theatre.
I will be holding auditions for my play at 4pm in the STaG room on saturday; there is no need to prepare anything-just bring yourselves-
i'm aware that this is pretty super short notice but fear not...
For anyone interested in auditioning but unable to attend i am planning on holding another set of auditions at some point on tuesday 26th
-if you could get in touch with me Re:your availibilty on that day then i will try to hold it at a time when the most amount of people are free.
If you are at all interested, please come along. This play will only be a good as the quality of its cast.
