Charity Tickets

For each of the Society’s Main (Spring) Shows, a charity is chosen to benefit from the production. Unfortunately our productions rarely raise enough money that we can afford to support our chosen charity with a direct financial donation, but over the years an innovative system of charity tickets has been developed instead.

Each time a member of the Society, or indeed a member of the audience, buys a ticket, they also have the option of buying a charity ticket, which would be the same cost as a concession-price ticket. Shortly before the week of the show, we count the number of charity tickets that have been bought, and offer these tickets to our chosen charity for free, enabling often disadvantaged people to come and see our shows, and advancing our aim of furthering interest in music and theatre.

If you would like to buy a charity ticket, you can either do so via a cast member (who can speak directly with the Ticket Manager) or via phone or email. Contact details can be found on this page. Unfortunately it is not currently possible to process an order for charity tickets online, although we are looking into ways to enable this option.

Thankyou for taking the time to read this page and support our chosen charity. Our charity for this year is Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research Scotland, and of course you can also click on this if you want to help or find out more.
