Hey guys,

Apologies if any of you have been trying to access the forum since about Thursday; we had some unplanned downtime due to an unexpected server error. As you can see though, it's been fixed and we're back up and running!

For those of you that have read this far, I'd actually quite like to take this opportunity to gather your thoughts on the forum itself. Banter during the holidays is always few and far between; I know that, but how useful do you think the forum is during normal operation? Essentially I'm trying to see how many people actually use it, as we've had a couple of suggestions that it's possibly getting outdated, or at least a bit retro.

Personally I'm all for the retro-ness, and can't think of anywhere else to put the "You know you were in/on [insert major Cecilian activity here] when..." threads! But I'd like to know what you think - let me know by posting here, even if it's just to tell me that you read the forum regularly and can actually remember your username and password :) (Incidentally, if you can't, then just drop me an email on president@ceciliansociety.co.uk and I'll be able to reset it for you.)

And btw, 40 days until the Weekend Show. Just sayin.

A bientot!
Ben

I agree with Charlie - <3 the forum! :D

I also immensely enjoy reciting the address en masse to freshers. But that might just be me. I mean, it has TWO forward slashes, for goodness' sake! TWO!!

Just sayin', eh? :)

A bit of a late reply but I agree that the forum is awesome. It gets a bit in the summer but is good during term time. Where else would Amy put her epic run throughs and notes??!! I'm also with Laura I would miss receiting the address :)

Sorry, love, as you can tell I'm a term-time forum-er. I love it. I found it really useful during TWS last year for schedules etc. And we need a place for 'you know you were.....'.

KEEP THE FORUM!
