Hey guys!
This was sent to the ticket email!
Hi there,

I hope you don’t mind me emailing you out of the blue like this, but I am wondering if you might be able to help send around this special offer around members of the Cecilian Society, as our upcoming concert may be of interest.

I’m wondering if you can help get the message out about our upcoming concert on 7 March at St. Andrew’s In The Square. This will be the Scottish premiere of Birtwistle’s Pulse Shadows and we will be joined by American soprano Claron McFadden. All of the details are below and included in the podcast.

We’re offering members of music societies a special offer for music clubs of £10, if they quote that at the door. If you can help get the word out that would be great.

Best wishes and many thanks for your time.
Caroline

ecat and Hebrides Ensemble join forces to bring you one of the finest chamber works of the late 20th Century - Harrison Birtwistle's Pulse Shadows. Join us for the Scottish premiere of this work of ingenuity and magic, described as one of his finest achievements and a piece of 'extraordinary weight and emotional complexity' (The Guardian)

Drawing inspiration from the poetry of Paul Celan and the Freizes and Fantasias of Purcell, Pulse Shadows interleaves movements for string quartet with works for ensemble and soprano.

We are delighted to be joined by the distinguished American soprano, Claron McFadden, who has performed Pulse Shadows many times throughout Europe with absolute authority and depth of emotion.

ecat's Peter Nelson, Hebrides Ensemble Artistic Director and Cellist William Conway, and Claron McFadden talk about the work in our latest podcast.
